The rules for using GuildLog. Short, because there is not much to it.
Last updated 17 August 2026
The short version. GuildLog is a free hobby project for World of Warcraft guilds. Use it sensibly, do not abuse it, and understand that it is provided as-is with no guarantees. We are not affiliated with Blizzard Entertainment.
GuildLog is a guild management tool for World of Warcraft Classic, operated by Aktero AS, a company registered in Norway. It is under active development: features change, move and occasionally disappear. We may modify or discontinue any part of it at any time.
You sign in with Discord, so your access to GuildLog depends on your Discord account and on your membership of your guild's Discord server. You are responsible for what happens under your account. If you lose access to your Discord account, you lose access here too.
Guilds on GuildLog are run by their own Guild Masters and officers, not by us. They can add and remove members, edit guild records, and create or modify characters belonging to members of their guild. We do not arbitrate disputes inside a guild. That is between you and your guild leadership.
You agree not to:
We may suspend or remove accounts and guilds that break these rules.
Guild records, character data and notes you enter remain yours. By entering them you give us permission to store and display them as the service requires: to your guildmates, and publicly if you have chosen to make your profile public. You are responsible for having the right to submit what you submit.
Paid plans are described on the Premium page but are not yet available; no payment can currently be taken and nothing on the site is behind a paywall. When billing goes live, these terms will be updated with the payment, renewal and refund conditions before any charge is made.
GuildLog is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, that data will never be lost, or that imports from third parties such as Warcraft Logs or Blizzard will always succeed. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of GuildLog, including lost data or lost guild records. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
GuildLog is a fan project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Blizzard Entertainment. World of Warcraft and all related item, boss and world data are trademarks and copyright of Blizzard Entertainment, Inc.
You can stop using GuildLog at any time and request deletion of your account as described in the Privacy Policy. Guild records created during your membership may remain with the guild.
These terms are governed by Norwegian law, with disputes subject to the Norwegian courts, unless mandatory consumer law in your country of residence says otherwise.
We will update these terms as the service develops. The date at the top shows the last revision, and material changes will be announced on our Discord server.
